Today I came home to a wonderfully happy mail day! Charly dropped off my Holiday House Mouse swap cards. Aren't they gorgeous? What an awesome job everyone did! :) Charly also included a couple of extra House Mouse Images embossed in black for me to play with and a birthday card for me! My birthday's on Monday, I'll be turning the big 33. :)
I also got a card from Natalie Cerilli, a another fellow CSTer (Canadian Stamp Talk, a Canadian stamping Yahoo forum that I belong to.) It was sweet of her to send me this gorgeous card. She's one busy cardmakin' lady!
This cutie-pie of a card was done by my friend, Tracy Houghton. I love the Cuttlebug layers that Tracy used, this is a heaveyweight card, absolutely gorgeous! Well done!
Another beautiful creation done by Karlene Saville. I love the shimmery dark green cardstock that Karlene used for the base of this card. She's also added a shimmer to the candy canes and the paint. Too cute! My goodness I love these little mice! Great job!
This sweet little mini Triangle tri-fold card was done by Denise Surette. Another very sweet House Mouse image and I love the patterned paper and the snowflake eyelet that Denise added. Very Nice!
And, last but not least, this adorable card was done by Cathlyn Atkins. You all know how much I love scalloped shapes! Love the patterned paper, very cute, and green card stock is like a faux leather. Very cool. I have to find out where she got this! Great job!
This is the Birthday RAK that Charly Weaver sent me. I love the sun and swirls. Wow, that's a lot of cutting! Thanks so much, Charly!
This is the card that Natalie Cerilli sent me. It came in a clear envelop. How cool is that! I bet she had the people at the post office drooling, surprised this one even got to me! I also love the stamped saying on the back of Natalie's card, it says, "Hallmark, eat your heart out!" How great is that! lol :)
Gotta rest up for my birthday par-tay on Thursday night with the girls! Yippee! :) Thanks for stopping by! :)
These are awesome! Can't wait to get mine. My card is very heavy...too many layers!
ReplyDeleteHope you have somethin' extra special planned for the girls party!!
I love all the House Mouse cards. You guys all did a great job on them.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday again Julie. HOpe your special day is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Julie! I can't wait to receive my holiday house mouse cards either. The green paper I used was done with waxed paper resist. Crumple up a large piece of wax paper, placed it between two sheets of cardstock and iron. Makes it look like faux leather. Very easy . . . give it a try. Hugs, Cathlyn
