I had a wonderful time out last night with the girls for a stampin' night at Kim's. We did three projects - a beautiful little basket, a sweet little Easter Bunny chocolate bar sleeve....I'm sure my girls won't like those at all! lol :) Our final project was a tri-fold card using my favourite colours! I didn't pick the colours, honest! It's been a while since I've made one of these tri fold cards, they're a fun card to make. Deborah is hosting the next stampin' get together and she came up with a new card challenge and we have to bring our card that night. It's to make some sort of fun-fold card...just a card that has a different fold to it than the traditional card. Humm, I'll have to think about it...oh I know exactly what I'm gonna make. You'll have to wait to see it, though! Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah! lol :)
A sweet little basket and Deborah actually gave me her basket, too, so that I'd have one for each of my girls. I'll give them to them for Easter, I know they'll be thrilled, they love little baskets to hold their treasures in! Thanks again, Deborah! :)
A little Chocolate Bar Sleeve...gotta get a Hershey Dark Chocolate bar to slip inside.
Kim gave each of us a beautiful card for coming over and this is the gorgeous card that I got from her. I love the vintage look to it and the peach and green colours compliment each other so well. The buttons add a fun touch. :) Thanks so much for having us over, Kim, and for the lovely card and the 'to-die-for' slice of Peanut Butter Pie! Gotta get that recipe! It tasted sinful, but came from the Splenda cookbook, so really it was quite sinfree! I should have had two pieces!!! lol :)
We also each brought our Colour Challenge cards last night and I drew Val's name and she drew mine. This is her beautiful card that I got to keep. Check it out, it has my favourite green in it! Funny enough, I think it turned out that for each card received, we got a card that included the colours that we weren't allowed to use! We all thought that was pretty amusing! I really like the soft colours of Val's little square card and the daintiness of it. Just beautiful! Thanks, Val! :)
Thanks for stoppin' by! :)
