Butterfly Kisses for My Mutchkin

My little 'Mutchkin' had an accident today at daycare, so I made her this tonight to cheer her up. She fell off the play structure and bruised her tail bone quite nicely.   She's been sleeping ever since she got home at 5 pm and it's after midnight now.  Unfortunately, I imagine she's going to be sore for quite some time.  She loves it when I when I make her cards, especially when she's not feeling feel, so I thought I'd play around and make her a little bit of wall art this time for her bedroom. :)   It's mounted on a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock for now.   Little butterfly kisses from Mom for a speedy recovery.  :)

I used the adorable Butterfly Kiss photostamp by The Stampsmith. This stamp comes in a couple different sizes, I used the large size (2.75" x 4").  This stamp also comes in a small size (1.25" x 2") which is great for smaller projects, as well.

Glittery patterned paper (Desert Blooms paper pad by Mindy Terasawa).  Buttons (Foof-a-la).  Flower (Prima),  Journalling Fairy Notecard (Nature Garden Collection by Prima). Hemp string for tying buttons together, Victorian lace and tonnes of Pink Pearls (Dollarama).

Take Time to Smell the Roses

I have a summery creation to share with you tonight. One of my co-workers asked me to create a card for her for a friend, something happy, peaceful and summer-like. This is the card I came up with. Do you think it works? :)

I used Camelia for my main focal image. Isn't she lovely?  This photo stamp is sold as a single by The Stampsmith.  I distressed all the edges of the cardstock and patterned paper and then some fun buttons, beautiful lace and a pretty like butterfly die cut finish off the embellishing.

Smile, it's a happy day!

This sweet, little angel is called Butterfly Kisses from The Stampsmith.  Doesn't she just bring a smile to your face?  :)  I have the larger version of this stamp but this is the first time I've used the smaller version of her.  She's just too sweet!   I made the flower and added the sentiment, 'smile' to the inside.

The lace doily is a diecut from Cheery Lane.  They have the most intricate diecuts...I just love this one.   Lots of chocolate pearls finish off the embellishing.
