Altered Canvas Art

Val and Kim had a wonderful project idea for us this month. I love to alter things, so this was right up my alley! :) They got this idea from the Hero Arts website, I believe.

We took a 4" x 4" canvas covered wood frame and covered it with the patterned paper of our choice and then layered on some text from an old book, white embossed a flourish and added lots of other embellishments inclusing this gorgeous white embossed lace flower that I cut out to make this pretty wall art. Now, I need to find the perfect place to hang my creation...

Here's a bit of an angle to show you the dimension of the project and you can better see the colour of the buttons in this picture.
