Yarn Octopus Dolls

I've been busy with working full time and doing some renos to the house in the evenings, so today I thought I'd take a break today and make a couple of crafts with my girls. My good friend, Diana, made them these sweet mermaid dolls and they wanted a yarn friend for them, so we found this super easy Disney pattern online for a yarn octopus. So, my girls and I made one for each of them in opposite colours.  They love them!

This one is Alexandria's octopus.

Here's what it looks like when you bring her tentacles in.

This one is Natalia's octopus...you can see I smeared the hot glue under her eye.    Oops!  :(

I have a card to share with you later. I've been having trouble uploading pictures from my camera to my computer lately, but I think I've finally got it working again. Somehow the computer just wouldn't recognize my camera so I had to re-install everything. I think I'm good to go now, though! Now, I just need there to be more hours in the day so I can spend more time crafting and doing the things I enjoy! lol :)

Thanks for stoppin' by! :)

Oh my goodness...I can remember having these sit on my bed...that pattern has been around a long time. lol

Mine was made when phentex was popular. Basically indestructable yarn.

Yours are very cute! Have the girls headed back to school?
