Mojo94 Sketch Challenge

I'm a little late to play along in last weeks sketch challenge, but I liked the sketch so much that I thought I'd make a card using this sketch anyway. I've been hoarding this gorgeous butterfly paper for a while and wasn't quite sure what I wanted to use it for. Well, I decided to use it for a birthday card to be sent out to a friend...I guess you'll have to see if it's for you! :)

I don't think I've ever used so many Basic Grey papers on one card! I do think they should change their name, though. The name Basic Grey really just doesn't do them justice to their gorgeous paper and embellishment line. There's nothing basic about them...I think they should be called Extraordinarily Grey! What do you think? Anyway, enough of my foolishness! lol :)

You know me and my obsession with butterflies...well, I couldn't help showing you a close up of this gorgeous butterfly! It came from an old sheet of all different kinds of butterflies that were printed off a website that's no longer in business. I thought the colours went well with the Basic Grey paper.

This is the sketch that I followed - another awesome one by Julee Tilman! We all love her, don't we?
OK, I'm off to bed early since I was up til 3:30 AM last night for some reason...I just couldn't sleep. I'll be heading to the post office in the morning to mail this card off. Keep an eye in your mailbox to see if you get it! :)

Thanks for stoppin' by! :)
