Butterfly Wish

The butterfly stamp that I used in tonight's card is one of the stamps that I received from Deborah last night. Thanks again, Deborah, I love butterflies and I think this one might just be my new favourite stamp! :)

Tonight, while I was singing to my youngest daughter to sleep, I got the idea for this card. I think I've sung the same songs so many times that my mind kinda goes on autopilot and it starts to wander....to card designs and color combos! lol :) I tried to think of pretty, girly colours with a whimsical design and I knew I wanted to use this butterfly stamp as they remind me of my girls. They love giving me 'butterfly kisses' and I love getting them so much! In case you're not familiar with what a butterfly kiss is, it's when you flutter your eyelashes as quickly as you can on someone's cheek and it tickles them.

So, anyway, that's what I had in mind while I was coming up with this card. A little butterfly wish to share with you all. :)

Thanks for stoppin' by! :)
