Tomorrow is my friend, Diana's birthday, I think it's safe to post this card as I don't think she reads my blog, or at least not on a regular basis. I got her into stamping, but she's really not into it, she's gone back to her first love, of painting. I guess we can't judge her... after all she's still being crafty and she does really wonderful work with her painting, so we'll let her off this time!!! lol :)
I saw this design on Amy Sheffer's blog 'Picked Paper Designs,' and I fell in love with the layout and the colours. I changed my card up a bit and this is what I came up with. I love so many of Amy's creations, she's one talented little lady! I really like her card better, especially how she has her flowers on the inside of the card with the little windows to peek through at them. But, I got fed up with trying to get my circles even...so I improvised or cheated and just layered the circle instead!
I really had to stock up on the current 'In Colors'...I think I'm really gonna miss them! I did see the new 'In Colors' that are being released next and I can't say that I'm as fond of them...then again, I said that about the current ones and I tend to really like all of them. So, we'll see!
In case you haven't caught a sneak peek at them, here are the new 'In Colors' for you to drool over until you can get your hands on some yourself! The print is small on the pic below, the colours are as follows starting from top to bottom, Pink Pirouette (my favourite), Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point.
Well, the morning has flown by, gotta go get my daughter at school for lunch. I got my official letter from the school board on Friday that guaranteed a spot for both of my girls in the lunchtime supervision program at school for the Fall! Yippee! I can go get a job and work days so I can have my evenings free and no more running back and forth to school 8 times a day! Man, it really breaks up my day now and is a bit tiring. I tired to get Alexandria in the lunch time program this past year, but it filled up quick and I couldn't get her a space. But, I'm so glad they'll both be in it for the 2008/09 school year. OK, gotta run!
Thanks for stoppin' by! :)

Great card, Julie! I am not fond of the incolors either. I will miss some of this years though...guess I will be stocking up on River Rock and Purely Pomegranite this week! ;0)
I am looking forward to next year too. Both girls will be in school full-time, so I can work more too and hopefully hubby and I can actually have a few days off together once in awhile too! ;0)
This card is just BEAUTIFUL!!!!
