Paisley and Swirls
I recently fell in love with a card that Julee Tillman created. If you haven't checked out Julee's blog, called Poetic Artistry, you need to go take a look. Her work is absolutely amazing! I decided to use her basic layout and colour scheme for this card but I changed the patterned paper and the stamps. I really like how this one turned out. Can you see the Cuttlebug embossing on the patterned paper? I like this effect. It's much easier to see in person, unfortunately the photo doesn't catch it very well.
Stamps: Baroque Motifs (SU), Small Script (SU)
Patterned Paper: Deja Views - Fresh Prints - Blue Raspberry Paisley
Cardstock: Black and White (The Paper Company)
Ink: Tempting Turquoise (SU)
Tools: Scalloped Square (Mega and Giga) punches, paper piercer
Embellishments: Jumbo Black Brads (Dollarama)
Well, it's that time again, gotta call it a day...so much for going to bed early! lol :)
Thanks for stoppin' by! :)
