OK, I'm nearly in convulsions, I'm so excited! I was out this morning and returned home from the kids playgroup and another birthday party to go to and I had 2 Express Post envelopes stuffed between my front doors. I quickly got inside and opened them up...I DROOLED for about an hour and proceeded to count all the cards! Yes...cards! The packages I received were from Melanie Kuzik for the Autism Auction. She sent me 236 cards with envelopes! Holy schmoley! I've never seen such a huge amount of gorgeous cards together! These were cards that she's received from different card swaps that she's joined and wanted to find a good home for them. She joked and said she may have shed a tear or 2 letting these cards go, but was glad that they were going to out to good use and to be enjoyed by others now. They really will be enjoyed by so many others, now! Thanks so much, Melanie! You're kindness is outstanding!
Here's the stack of cards that she sent me!
These are a couple of cards that she sent that just about sent me into hysterics! I love them! :)
I don't know if you can read the inside of this card, but her bag says, "put your big girl panties on and deal with it!" How funny is that! lol :)
I also received another set of 5 cards from Natalie Cerilli. Thanks so much, Natalie. Your cards are always great and thanks so much for taking the time to make up special ones for this project! It's very much appreciated! :)
Check out the totals now for the cards received. I added a section to my sidebar. Yup...received to date...290 cards! I also have another bunch that are on their way. If each person send a set as they stated, I have another 115 on their way...maybe more as some have said they sending a bunch, as well. I might lose all control if I get another lot like I did today! It's gonna be hard for me to pass these on, they're all so beautiful. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they see all these cards! :)
Thanks again guys, you ROCK! :)
